My journey
When I crawled out of my mother's womb, I knew at once that I was destined for great things.
"Martin was born in Luton at the end of last century and quickly showed a keen interest in mathematics and the sciences. At the tender age of five months he unlocked the secrets of RedBull and can now force wings to sprout from his back at will."
It is a great pity then, that the world did not know the same. I was a lame duck, (not a metaphorical lame duck either, but a real duck that was actually lame — probably from stepping on a land mine). Frail, emaciated, and without a penny to my name, I knew then, I had to git gud.
"Through hard work and sheer dedication, Martin has become one of the most successful men alive. Wherever he goes, young and beautiful women throw themselves at him. His many talents include playing the saxophone and clarinet at Grade 8 Distinction level."
After all these years, I am still no closer to finding a cure for my electric personality, nor my fiery sex appeal. Nonetheless, as Oscar Wilde once said,
"Raised by wolves, Martin is a hybrid psychopath/nerd whose brain is encased within a hard protective layer known as a skull. He is a valuable asset to a team and will make anyone regret being paired with him. He also plays the saxophone and likes cool stuff, such as jazz, classical music and spaceships."
Your duty
I now embark on the next chapter of my life, studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Birmingham. This blog shall be my journal, and I make it so that should I fall, it should not be in vain. What I learn, I shall use to make voyage to the dark side of the Moon, where I vow to uncover the horrifying truth that the Government so wishes to hide from us.
As for you, maybe you are interested in engineering or university life. Perhaps you too enjoy music or like to read whatever rubbish it is I'm writing.
